Janitorial Product Risk Evaluation |
The Janitorial Products Pollution Prevention Project has evaluated health and safety risks for several hundred chemical ingredients that are commonly found in janitorial products. The following links go to tables that summarize our risk evaluations for nearly 100 of these ingredients, and suggest whether or not we think each ingredient should be used.
We encourage you to investigate for yourself the specific ingredients in the products that you use. Much of the information you will need is available in material safety data sheets, toxicology studies, and other published literature available on the internet. Refer to the Chemfinder web site to find and download copies of these references. Because there are so many different names for each ingredient, you will find it easier to use the CAS number as a search word. | |
